I love Daft Punk. I really do. I'm not a fan of Anime but the film I was watching last night (Interstella 5555) was surprisingly good, for saying, it's a) anime, b) futuristic and c) has no speech in it at all.
But trust me, that's gonna be the first and last time I ever watch any anime again (except this film, I'm keeping it).

Anyway, first day of holidays and there's already nothing to do. Or rather, nothing I want to do. I've gotta tidy my room at some point. It's a total cess pit. At some point in my room you actually have to wade kneedeep through stuff.
Plus, I keep losing things (mainly keys and phone, so it'd help if my room was tidy so I didn't panic so much about these things.)
Also, if my room was tidy I might feel more incline to invite people over - but y'know, it doesn't matter how much I like the person I'm inviting, I don't like people coming here - mainly cos it's so frickin' boring and we'll be half eaten alive by cats.

My mum's back in obsessive mode about these kittens again. I don't think she's gonna be around much over the summer hols cos she'll be busy with them once they're born.
I'm quite looking forward to getting them. If we get enough I can name one. I think Oscar'll be happy too, he likes playing 'dad' to them.
I just don't like pregnant cat (Solo) wandering around; it's... erm... freaky. But only cos there're things living inside her!

Meh.

I need to go to the library again today to request about 40 more books (no kidding - it's why they hate me there. I force them to actually do their job), and then I need to go to town to get my new wrist support thing before fencing on Thursday (it is actually gonna be on this Thursday, so I'm not gonna feel like a total twat wandering around in my little breeches through where ever.
I'm looking forward to it, actually, as always. I have my lamé that I bought from eBay, now, so I can do some electric fencing.
Heh. It's funny, everytime I come fencing these days I've got a new piece of kit. Mick can't understand it, cos he isn't the one buying it (I can get discounts using his coach's discount thingy). But anyway. I've only got a few more things to get. A chest 'tector/barbie boobs/Xena bra, two electric foils, two electric épées, a bag, a complete repair kit, two foil body wires, two épée body wires and finally a new plastron (I need a 800N one before I can go to Opens.)
It's bloody expensive though, fencing, that is. Buying all the kit, membership to both the BFA and my club (and eventually another club once I've got myself a job) and then subs fees for the club.
All in all, I've spent several hundreds of pounds on it, and several more to come. And I've only been fencing nearly 2 years.

So, let me bore you and tell you about all that. (Going by current Leon Paul prices):
- my jacket: £85.90
- my breeches: £49.90
- my lamé: £69.98
- my mask (with added contour fit): £59.80
- my socks x2: £19.98
- my glove: £18.49
- my plastron: £18.99
- my shoes: £105

But I haven't paid all that. No, no. That's a grand total of £428.04. Do you think I have that kinda money? No. My kit cost:

- my jacket: £50
- my breeches: £35.90
- my lamé: £29
- my mask: £62 (I had to pay for the p+p on that one)
- my socks: £9.99 + ?
- my plastron: £18.99
- my glove: £18.49
- my shoes: £105

Still though, that's about £330. And then all the rest of the kit that I need will cost a further £420 or so. Meh.

Probably will go down to Leon Paul again in the summer hols. 'Twas funny the first time I went. Barry, (I'm assuming it was Barry) asked my in this really pervy voice, 'Would you like a bigger breast protector?' In this slightly leering way. It was when I was trying on jackets, and needed to try on a 'tector too so I could get the sizing right for the jackets.
And last time I went, for my breeches, the lady was kinda checking if the breeches fit on me. Was a little unnerving, cos you don't expect people selling you things to check if they actually fit by actually touching/measuring you. I suppose it's good that they treat you like they're an outfitter's. They really love what they do there.
Still, made me laugh.

Anyway, I'd best be off. Away laughing on a fast camel, maybe not. Just off.
