Word of the Day giant/huge
So, I got my 'Beat Bullying' wristband yesterday after over two months of waiting. But by now it's a fashion piece, and that's not why I got it. *big MEH*
I also got my steve/Bleach cd from Jeff in Notts. I am so happy. I love it. I'm just about to go and tell him how much I love it and if I can repay him somehow(?).
I'm loving the Daydreamer (piano) track. It's different to I Am Here somehow. Less polished, I guess. But steve have matured somewhat - and they have got a different sound now to what they used to have.
I stayed at Bose and Tolani's last night. Gbemenyi went off to Leicester and the wee-one stayed with us.
We stayed in Leicester for longer than I felt comfotable with. I watched Cruel Intentions and Green Wing on their TV. Cruel Intentions is crap. And it felt odd and quite awkward to watch Green Wing in front of adults who I don't know (or even adults who I do know well...) but that's 'cos of the 'adult' content in it. 'Twas a good episode though. Missed the last bit, which was a pity, cos that's the best bit of that particular episode.
So yeah before we went, I had a great meal and went on their pc for a bit. I was going to post on their pc onto my blog, but I couldn't be bothered. Also, whenever I'm on the pc, my right hand gets very cold; no matter how warm the room or the rest of me is. It's really odd.
And their house is really hot. I woke up at 6:30 this morning, sweating away. I hate hot mornings.
I've gotta say though, their house is pretty damn cool. It's really sparsely decorated and they tend to go for big mirrors and pictures all over the place. IMO, that's very cool. In their bathroom, they have a wall with a giant mirror as part of the wall, from about halfway up the wall to the ceiling: just one giant pannel. I love it. They also have a giant framed mirror at the top of their stairs, (on the wall just where the stairs splits off into two) and it reflects this huge hand painted Nigerian picture. It makes the house appear to be amazingly large. I mean, the house is huge, but the mirrors obviously make everything look even bigger. I so, want my house to be like their's.
Last night I got in and went upstairs to Gbemenyi's room where I was going to sleep and she wandered off and I got my book out and started reading. I was given a large glass of orange Fanta from Bose and she left me to it. I was getting really excited about the book, so I didn't look up when I was reaching out for my glass. So, yes, you've guessed it: I knocked the glass over and Fanta went everywhere. I thought I was possibly going to die.
So anyway, I cleaned it up - using the best part of a whole toilet roll and covered up the wet patch on the carpet with my bass guitar so that the carpet had a chance to dry without being seen.
I got away with it, and the creamy/beige carpet didn't go orange. I am so grateful. Why do I have to be so klutzy?
Anyway, back to today: I'm downloading CSI clips of the latest ep, which obviously I am also downloading off eDonkey, but they're taking forever. Ah well, they're off a new source, my usual one hasn't posted any yet. 'Tis no problem; as long as I get the clips, there's no worries.
As for CSI in general: Big Middle apparently has some 'shippy' moments in it and TPTB have made Vartaan into a twat. Pity, cos he's cute.
And the best bit... this woman slaps WP's butt, and I can imagine that she was paid for the job (don't TPTB understand that many people would pay them to do that job, or at least do it for free!?) Hmm. :P
Anyway, if I had been in that woman's situation, I'd be like: >>
